Open Conference

If you live in Wisconsin, you may have heard our spot ad for the Conference occurring on October 10, 2009, at Wisconsin Dells.

Tell me more about this Conference, and why should I come?  Tell me what to expect.

We are going to talk about how the present economic crisis is affecting us all, and how we cannot only cope with it but be given some keys to face it in the right way and attitude.

Have you lost your job? Are you afraid that you may lose your home? Are the bills piling up with no end in sight?

We all feel the pressure of the uncertainty.  During these difficult times, it's easy to let fear overwhelm our thoughts and become the driving force behind our actions.  How quickly we lose sight of the joys in our life, because we allow our faith to be replaced by fear.

When things seem hopeless, it's difficult to have faith that God will provide.  Worry only worsens our sense of helplessness and insecurity.  Are you ready to replace worry with hope?  Are you ready to see beyond the difficulties of today to a brighter and more peaceful tomorrow?

On October 10 at 3:00 p.m., at the Chula Vista Resort in the Wisconsin Dells, J. Graham Davies, founder of the Bible Fund, a nonprofit organization that delivers Bibles to remote corners of the undeveloped world, will present a discussion entitled "Ending Your Financial Worries." As well as Editor of the Bible Fund website, Graham is counselor and pastor of a church in Angola, Africa and members of some house churches in Brazil. He frequents a house church in Southern California.

In this free 45-minute Open Conference, the speaker will share the secret of having a calm peace of mind, the right values and a perspective that will help you navigate rough waters to find peace and serenity.

In this conference, we will see how a change of "attitude" can help us face the future with peace and acceptance.  Using inspirational biblical perspectives, the speaker will share the message of how faith, and the resultant positive thinking it produces, can lead us through these difficult times to a happy world tomorrow.

Even though such passages as the Sermon on the Mount will be used, this will not be a typical "evangelical" meeting with altar calls, etc.  Far be it; those attending will be made to feel at home, and will be able to ask questions pertinent to the subjects discussed. A casual question and answer session will follow the conference.

Free refreshments will be served.

This information will be also on the home page for easy access during the month of October.

Please tell your friends and bring your family to this special event that has the power to transform your life.
